Wills: scanning your will with a printer/scanner

For scanned wills, adeus True Wills will only upload a single PDF format document to ensure its integrity, and will overwrite any previous uploads. PDFs keep your will clear, complete and unchanged, unlike photos or other file types that can distort pages, crop content or reduce legibility.

If you have access to a scanner of a mult-function printer/scanner, simply scan and save the document as a PDF. Then follow the instructions below to store an electronic copy on adeus.

If you scanner saves as separate pages, you use a PDF merging tool if you have individual pages that you want to combine in one document. There are many out there, and one that has been recommended by some of our customers is https://www.ilovepdf.com/merge_pdf . It has 4.9 stars on TrustPilot.

If you are an Apple user, the Preview app on Mac can also merge documents automatically.

Important: Your scanned will should be saved as one document, with multiple pages in a single document. This is important to ensure it's clear that all pages are included and are in the intended order.
