Wills: guidance on jointly held assets

If you hold property, bank accounts, or other assets jointly with your partner, they will automatically pass to your surviving partner through the ‘Right of Survivorship’. You cannot pass on jointly held assets in your Will, and to reduce the possibility of any confusion, you should not include these in your Will.
