My Legacy Plan

My Legacy Plan

My Legacy Plan is your personal dashboard for legacy planning. It gives you a single view of how organised your plan is today: what you have completed, what is still missing, and what to consider doing next.

Legacy planning is not a one-off task you finish and forget. Circumstances change, accounts get added, and wishes evolve. My Legacy Plan is designed to make that an easy, ongoing part of looking after your affairs, rather than a daunting one-off project.

Your Legacy Plan progress

At the top of the page is a progress circle showing what percentage of your legacy plan is complete. You start at 5%, simply for signing up, and move up as you complete more of your plan. Progress always moves in steps of 5%, so you will never be left wondering why your score sits on an odd number.

Progress is grouped into three tiers:

  • Foundations in Place (0 to 35%): you are just getting started.
  • Building on Your Foundations (36 to 84%): you are making solid progress.
  • Your Life, Organised (85%+): your plan is comprehensive and well maintained.

What counts towards your progress

Action

What it involves

Add the people you trust, so you can start using your Vault.

Create Your Will

Your will is the legal foundation of your legacy plan (progress increases as your will moves from Draft, to In Review, to Approved).

Add Your Will to True Wills

Sign your will and store it securely with True Wills.

Write Your Letter of Wishes

Share personal wishes and guidance for your loved ones.

Store Important Account Details

Record key account details so your executor knows where to look.

Upload Your Important Documents

Upload certificates, deeds, and other key documents.

Protect Your Digital Legacy

Add your social media and online accounts, so they're not forgotten.

Create a True Note or True Gift

Leave a personal note or gift for someone important to you.

Complete Capacity Assessment

Coming soon.

Because a Will is the legal foundation of a legacy plan, you can reach a maximum of 70% without one. Creating your Will and adding it to True Wills unlocks the remaining progress, up to 100% once every other step is complete. The Capacity Assessment, currently shown as Coming Soon, will contribute the final 5% once it launches.

What's Next, For Review and Completed

Below the progress circle, your plan is organised into three sections.

What's Next lists the actions you have not started or finished yet, each with a clear Update Task link so you can jump straight in.

For Review surfaces items you have already completed but that may need checking again, for example if it has been a while since you last confirmed your account details are up to date. You will be notified by email and by a notification bell on the platform when something is due for review. From here you can either select Reviewed to confirm everything is still correct, or go into the relevant section and make changes. Either way, the item is updated automatically. Moving an item into For Review does not reduce your progress percentage. Once you have completed something, it stays counted; we just want to make sure it stays accurate over time.

Completed shows everything that is up to date and does not currently need your attention.

Why it matters

My Legacy Plan reframes legacy planning as something ongoing and manageable, rather than a single stressful task. It is designed to feel positive and encouraging, showing you exactly what is done, what is left, and the small next step that will move your plan forward.
