adeus True Notes
What is adeus True Notes?
adeus True Notes lets you leave a document, file, or personal message to a named individual. Whether it’s a letter to a loved one, instructions for a specific wish, important information you want to pass on, or simply something you’d like someone to read after you’re gone, True Notes gives you a safe and private way to make sure it reaches the right person.
Think of each True Note as a sealed letter in an envelope. Only the person it’s meant for will ever open it.
What can I include in a True Note?
You can use True Notes to leave almost anything that can be captured in a document or file. Some examples include:
- A personal letter or message to a family member or friend
- Instructions for a specific wish or arrangement
- Important information you want a particular person to have
- Any other document or file you’d like to pass on privately
There is no limit to the number of True Notes you can create, so you can leave different notes for different people, covering as many wishes or messages as you like.
What does each True Note include?
When you create a True Note, you’ll be asked to provide:
- A title or description (so you can easily identify the note within your account)
- The recipient (the named individual you’d like to receive it)
- A personal message (your own words to accompany the note)
- Your document or file (uploaded directly and stored securely as part of the True Note)
Once created, your True Note is securely sealed and stored within your adeus account.
How do I create a True Note?
Creating a True Note is simple. The process is fully guided, with straightforward questions and easy-to-use buttons walking you through each step. Most people complete a True Note in just a few minutes.
Like everything in adeus, it’s designed to be intuitive. No legal knowledge or technical experience needed.
Once created, your True Notes are stored securely in your adeus Digital Vault. You can return to review them at any time, and if you’d like to make changes or remove a note entirely, you can do so whenever you like.
When and how does the recipient receive it?
Your True Notes are not released automatically. When the time comes, your Executor will release it to the named recipient, they will not have access to the contents, but will review who notes are being sent to so they can have a view of your overall wishes.
Once released, the named recipient will receive a secure email containing a private link to access their True Note. They do not need an adeus account to open it.
How is my information kept safe?
adeus True Notes is built on Smart Contract technology. This means that once your True Note is created, the record of it is secure, private, and tamper-proof. No one can alter or access the contents without the proper authorisation at the right time. True Notes provides an immutable audit trail, giving you and your loved ones complete confidence that your wishes will be carried out exactly as you intended.
Is True Notes included in my plan?
